I have been a Met fan since 1969 and remember when they won the world series against the Baltimore Orioles. My mother transferred her allegiance to the Mets because her team, the Brooklyn Dodgers moved west To Los Angeles, Cslifornia. Citifield is the new ballpark replacing Shea an my son, Matty still refers the new stadium as Shea stadium. Matty also is a met fan just like me.
